The Cure met Love Song was de voor de hand liggende optie geweest voor Christophe Depree. “Top song en top band maar mijn keuze is dus gevallen op Distance van Evergrey.”
Een heavy, gevoelige love song. De melancholische stem van zanger/gitarist Tom Englund raakt mij diep, elke keer weer. Zwaar fan van die mens en de zeer ondergewaardeerde progressive metalband Evergrey. Wereld muzikanten en songschrijvers. Gotta love ‘em! Check zeker hun uitgebreid oeuvre.
